How many use a Farley for 600-1000 yd BR?

I have a Farley I use with a 10.5 and a13.5 pound gun
Will the Farley's hold up a 17pd gun?
Is the joy stick rest the wrong tool for LR BR?

Yes it will. Contact Farley, they have new tension screws if yours are not strong enough. I bet you will be fine with a 17lb. If your stock is perfectly straight you will be faster with knobs like the sinclair comp rest. If your stock is not (99% arent) the Farley will be great.

Yes the Farley will hold it just fine, mine is 17 and I've had no issues . Joey

I have used one on a 21.5 lb rifle you may have to tighten the screw up a little it worked fine for me

I bought a Farley and use it on a 21 pound rifle. Works well. One concern to consider is that their customer service is not the best. I left a few messages a couple of years ago to buy some new tension bolt nuts (not sure if that is what they are called) and got the sound of crickets in return. Had to hack my own solution. People seem to like the SEB service much better and that will be my next rest.
