WDBart, have you tried any 8208 with either of those? Especially with the 80gr? WD
Some interesting stats! Well at least they are for me. This year I shot 13 600yard matches.
My overall avg 2 gun agg for the year was 3.005. That's 104 record targets (not great)!
However, I switched to the Grinch for the last 3 matches of the year and my avg 2 Gun score has dropped to a 2.315 (24 targets). That's a significant change. All previous matches were shot with a Dasher.
Short follow up question if you don't mind. Were you shooting the same bullets for all or different?
Here's a couple of groups Roger Putney shot with the 105s. He broke the range record SE Ohio with the .731 and broke it again a few months later with .562.

Nope! Roger was shooting the mighty Dasher! With a Krieger 8 twist.Bart, was that also with the Grinch?
Bart, do you know if that killer shooting Krieger with your Infinity bullets was a .236" or .237" bore?Nope! Roger was shooting the mighty Dasher! With a Krieger 8 twist.
Jason,Bart, that's a considerable difference. Do you think it was all cartridge related or could some of the improvement be attributed to more experience shooting longer range matches or possibly better shooting conditions the second half of the season?

Spectacular targets!!!
What freebore are you using?Bart,
Which of your three would you assume better suited for a 7.5 twist Dasher? Of course it always comes down to that the barrel likes, but buying in quantity necessitates an educated guess ;-) I understand the 103's are not available yet, but neither is my spare money![]()
.135" freebore, .237" bore, Bartelin, 28"What freebore are you using?
I'd give the 103s a try first!.135" freebore, .237" bore, Bartelin, 28"
