Does it ever end??

Does it end? No, not if you keep reading or listening to catchy marketing ads or listening to those who did, who made the purchase and now feel they need to justify that purchase by telling their buds how great xyz is.
My hunting buddies do that but it's after they buy crap equip
It ends when you die or they put you in a nursing home and sell all your toys for 10¢ on the dollar. :(

When I die, I hope my wife doesn't sell my stuff for what I told her I paid for it.

You should have bought Apples' trailer. He's gone "Capn' Tugg" on you.
David's trailer is way too big for me Eddie. God bless him. Him & Judy really dig the deep sea fishing stuff. I can't blame him in a way. I'd rather go deep sea fishing than shooting, but I wouldn't want to own a boat as big as his. You know what they say about the 2 best days of owning a boat.

Been married for 50 years, best decision I ever made. She collects jewelry and clothes, I ride motorcycles and shoot. Indeed IT NEVER ENDS.

On a side note and I dont mean to hijack the thread but, how bought some pictures of your loading trailers you use in competitions.
I would love to see some of the set-ups. :)

If you learn from somebody that is on top of the accuracy game, you would buy once.
I hear that said a lot, but in a reloading life that's gone past 50 years now, there have been some unquestionably better tools designed. Lee made the RCBS ram based priming tool clumsy & obsolete & others have refined the concept since, for example. Scopes, who can remember eccentric crosshairs, lack of repeatability & weak optics? Baloon head cases, anyone?

It goes on & on.

Larry, March scopes would be nice but I make do with Weaver, Millet, and older scopes like B&L and Leopold. I will downsize from 2 bikes to 1 and use some of the proceeds to buy a Golden Eagle.

Just tried for a golden eagle and they were over 6 months back ordered at the factory.

Reluctantly posting....

Yes it ends. The "when" is a more salient question,IMO.

Stop buying consumer grade, planned obsolescent...."new and improved".Then start thinking for yourself.Develop the tools/skills to build whatever it is that floats your boat.

We're just a,bust out the wallet from a sine bar lathe....or whatever it takes to produce our own brrls. And I know there's a cpl posters on here that are already there. But,it just isn't that important any more?

We build high end, don't ask the price, traditional recurves and longbows.Yet,my personal bows(hunting and comp) are "million miles" matched pr of '71 Bear takedowns.Meaning,I don't even shoot my own bows.

So it is with chasing bullet holes. It "ends" when you're not burdened with buying over the counter.Go buy a nice 14x40 lathe.Snag a BP milling machine.Ask guys on here about welding equipment.

Or....keep chasing the,"futile pursuit of happiness".Best of luck,BW.
