Lapua Brass

OK, this is getting old....this is the third time I've received 6.5x47 brass from Lapua, in a sealed box I might add, and it's been short. This last box was short 2 pieces. Anyone else have this happen?

Nope, just bought 3boxes of 6BR and two of them had 101 the third had 100.

Contact Lapua. They'll get the North American reps email to you. Had that happen a while back and he made it right.

I just got a box of Lapua 221 Fireball brass. The box had 100pcs stamped on it and it looked like 100 to me. That was good enough for me.

Just opened two boxes 101 and 100. Only two cases of the 200 had folds on the shoulders.

Who knows? I doubt they are counting cases in groups of 100, they could be selling brass by the pound; meaning I would suggest you weight each case to determine if the missing case weight in the other 99 cases and if someone receives a bonus case there is a chance the cases are on the light side. I sold a 1 to 10 scale meaning I could place 100 cases on one side and measure out 1,000 cases on the other.


At one time the scale was certified by a division of a state called Weight and Measures.


My best purchases were made by the bucket, barrel and belt. The cheapest cases came from North Carolina; 1,400 cases for $14.00 with a bonus, each case came with a dirt dauber, a smith in Hawaii said I should be happy the cases did not come from there. He said I had the 30 Cal daubers, the only thing worst than a 30 Cal dauber is the Hawaiian 22 Cal Dauber.

Very Sorry that the box of Lapua 6.5 x 47 cases was 2 pieces short. Can you contact Kevin Thomas at 660-826-3232 (in Missouri) and let him know about your issue. He will get the lot number from you and log a report with the QA department at the Lapua factory in Finland. He will also send some replacement cases to you.
