James, I don't know if your going to shoot IR 50/50, but if you do a Nightforce, be careful of the weight, tough to make 10.5, 13.5 with a heavy scope. Most use a Weaver in the 10.5 class
get the weaver or this one for the .22

Get a separate scope for the 6ppc... We can't have too many toys!
I replaced a NF 12-42 with a vortex golden eagle on one of my rimfires, and am very happy with it so far. Being a variable is nice during set up. You can turn them down and it's easier to get on the right backer. This way you don't hear " someone's shooting my target!" Don't forget to remove all caps before weigh in, it helps a little. Thanks for input guys, I'm leaning heavily on the NF mainly due to reliability on the cross hairs not shifting like the Leupolds do and I already have 30mm rings that's that's roughly 80.00 saved.
I've never been burned with Weaver.
Too bad they don't come with a 30mm tube though
Never had a problem with Leupold products at all in 20+ years. Sent back - twice a LPS scope thinking it was bad and ended up being mounting system. They were very patient with me.
