Some recent bean field denizens with the HMR. The first pic shows one taken at 100m with an ear shot. My brother called it a labotomy gone bad. Amazing how quick the buzzards are on them. One we shot yesterday, I don't think the body even started to cool before two were working on it.

Hornady Vmax and my brother uses CCI TNTs (speer bullets). The bloody one was with an Anschutz pistol. I only get that kind of damage with side head shots.

nice day

we shot a groundhog one time it was about 450 out in a new cornfeild me and my buddy went out there and stuck a steel rod in him standing by the hole, my brother went hunting there the next day and shot like 10 shots threw that hog and we just died laughin, after he walked down there

:D I thought I was the only that did that. My brother took three shots before he realized the ruse. :p

I love groundhog hunting real fun at long range, when the wind is blowing

I've shot a few stiff hogs because of that trick.
