New 1000 yard range MN

New 1000 yard range just opened up in New York Mills Mn.
Talked the guy today. Good guy. They are talking about having tactical shoots. 3 gun. Etc. they have trap houses, handgun lanes. It is new. So they aren't fully setup. But you can start shooting now.

It's called Rush Lake Range. Look them up o. Facebook. If your like me and don't have Facebook. Pm me I can give you email address and phone number.

I already text him gave him some feedback. Few guys here n other forums said the same thing about Facebook.

I believe they will have 8 lanes. 1000 yard benches n 600 yard benches. It sounds like the setup will be like GRRC 1000 yard KD range. They toured their range and like the setup.

It's not set yet. It sounds like it maybe combination of yearly membership or daily fee. It's not going to be private. Open to public

Just met with Aaron, gave me the quick tour. Super nice guy, his father and he are carving this shooting range out of the woods on a piece of their property. The trap range is up and running and shooting distance is currently by appointment only. They have permanent target backers at 1K, the actual pit area is still under construction,(5 inches of rain this past week has slowed that a bit) but Aaron is confident the pit will be up and running in a month or so. He said, hopefully they'll have some steel hanging in the next couple weeks. If I can figure it out will post a few pictures. Aaron will try and update their Facebook page in the coming days, busy preparing for his sons wedding.

I like it...I like it!! Being just down the road on Hwy. 10 in DL this could be a game changer for me and load development and just shooting. I'd rather shoot 1000 all the time but Harris, Moffit, and Lodi do rack up the miles. I'll have to send Aaron an email for information and tour. Eric in DL

But will they allow 50BMG ?? I have other calibers to compete at 1000 yards, but would LOVE to see a range closer ..
