Savage mod 10 4.25 staggered blind mag to DBM

Hi everyone, I have a Savage model 10 (4.25 action screw spacing) with an internal magazine that I would like to change to a detachable box magazine. Has anyone done this? Is it expensive? I don't have any experience with this stuff and would prefer a gunsmith do the work, unless it's really that easy. Thanks for any help!

I have two Savage Model 10s that now have CDI Bottom Metal thus making them accept AICS magazines
