Converting Savage non DBM to DBM??

Is it possible to convert a savage action with the 4.275 spacing to accept the detachable box magazine? I think the 4.400 spacing was designed to accomodate the DBM, but may be wrong. Anyway, I have a NIB Predator 10 in .223 with blind magazine and 4.275 spacing....would like to have it a detachable magazine. Any help/suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, Gene

There are 2 ways to do it without headache's. #1 Go to CDI Precision he has bottom metal for both action's which uses ACIS magazines, and he will inlett your stock for $60.00 Jeff is a great guy.
#2 Sharp Shooter Supply sell's bottom metal that has a slotted front action screw and a spacer, with that bottom metal and a new centerfeed stock with dbm you would be good to go. I think the mags are Wyatt mags but not sure...
