Hornady Ultrasonic Cleaner Return & Replacement...

Gentlemen,
I placed a large order with Brownells more than a few years back, however, I bought what at the time was a new Hornady Ultrasonic Cleaner. What I learned? They REALLY worked. What happened? The Chinese POS died the third time I tried to run it. I still have all of the cleaner just no ultrasonic functional cleaner. Brownells will make good on Hornady junk, however, I am curious if there is a source for US Made Industrial Ultrasonic Cleaners through some type of surplus market? Any recommendations? I have very little desire for another rebranded Chicom special...

I have been using the Lyman 6000 ultra sonic cleaner for the past couple of years and it has performed great so far.

Also the bore tech ultra sonic cleaning solution works better than the horn day stuff.

I use the Sharp-r-tec ultrasonic cleaner which I found to be competitively priced. It works very well and is commercial grade.

Matt, Sharp-r-tec has some pretty good deals on small sonic cleaners which are perfect for parts and pistols. You might want to at least check them out.

I have a Hornady Magnum Ultrasonic cleaner (the more expensive stainless model, not the plastic one). It was defective - totally jacked up electronics. Sent it back to Hornady and they gave me a new one without delay. It's been going strong for a couple years now, and it works very well with batches of 100 cases. I looked at "real" cleaners, but they were way out of my price range. The high end Hornady appears to be the bare minimum that will do a good job. It's not what I would describe as industrial grade, but it's plenty durable if you treat it well.
