Short barrel 6x47L

I run a 6x47L in a 16" McGowen barreled specialty pistol in our local thousand yard steel plate matches. With 105 Bergers I am getting 2900fps.

radar what powder are you using in the 16" barrel? Hate to keep asking everyone questions but short barrel shooters here are in the minority. I've got a 15 1/4 " 243 ready to go except Scope, base, and rings. Vortex is saying first couple of weeks in May so I'm holding off on base & rings just in case I have to change my mind quickly. First match is Mid June.

I'm looking at the HST 6x24 LR reticle FFP. Was going to go with 4x16 LR reticle FFP because its a little shorter but they discontinuted it for 2016. I think I'll shoot them an email Monday just to make sure things are on schedule. Might have to switch to a PST.

No but I would like to know what it would do with the 105 bergers

What's the velocity difference between H4350 and Varget

What's the velocity difference between H4350 and Varget

I don't remember the exact velocity but the sweet spot with Varget was slower than with the H4350
