As I’m close to ordering a Vudoo, I called Bighorn today to ask. If there’s something in the works, they, or at least Ray, isn’t sharing it publicly and denied there was one in the works.
I'm glad to here they have a target date for their new action. I'd talked to Mike a few months ago and he didn't have a release date at that time. He did confirm that there would be a left hand version available though, which makes this lefty very happy!Flatlander, is there any talk of Mike Bush and company offering a single shot action? As well as his repeaters are shooting, I would think the 22 RF Benchrest crowd would be interested. Heck, I think I might like one.
***Update: Just heard back from VGW and there is indeed a single shot in the works with a target date of 2020 Shot Show. Good news, indeed.

Yes, Tim s, I do. I just sold a single shot 40X that I had invested a small fortune in when building a tactical rifle "trainer" in 22 LR. Had the itch for a Vudoo but bought a Hall 22 LR BR on this site a couple of weeks ago. Still got the itch for a Vudoo but prefer a single shot because I no longer need a trainer. I can load .223 for my Rem 700 repeater or my BAT A-5 single shot for not much more than the cost of Eley Tenex. Not for nothing, but you you do realize, I assume, there are currently custom 40X BR clones on the market ?

Ha!Still cheaper than an Anschutz 10 round magazine.
Maybe factory ones, but built to the same standards, I haven't seen one out shoot my 1411Cheaper and more accurate the an Anschutz
I wish we were closer. I would like to shoot with ya. it would be interesting. If you ever get to Texas bring your 1411. We will shoot and then. Go fishing loser buys the beer.Maybe factory ones, but built to the same standards, I haven't seen one out shoot my 1411

What would be the competition to decide a winner? I only shoot BR there are 3 shooters with Vudoo's who I compete against and they have not won against my 1411. Vudoo's are good rifles for what they are intended to be used at, but BR, they need to work on that.I wish we were closer. I would like to shoot with ya. it would be interesting.
