Lapua 20 tactical brass

    I find it Very interesting that Lapua choset to make 20 Tactical brass and not 204 brass. There is so much 223 brass out there, not sure why Lapua would make the 20 Tactical brass.

    It's because Dakota Arms placed a 550,000 count order. At that level, Lapua can make money even if they never produce it again.

    I agree with you that the .204 Ruger will probably end up being a bigger seller.

    Everything indicates that we'll be seeing Lapua 20 VarTarg brass before the end of the year as well.

    Remington 221 Fireball brass will be coming with the 20 VarTarg also.

    Wow! the 20 caliber cartridges are really taking off. I just might need to try one. Which one?......

    Depends want you want to do and at what range. If you don't want to reload, then right now 204 Ruger is your only choice,but you will have more choices soon). I have a Tac-20 and I love it. I form from 223 brass and it shoots great. I'm building a light 20 VarTarg, hopefully soon. The 20BR also looks very nice.

    Once I finish my new 6PPC, I will also try out the 20PPC since it will be just a matter of getting a new barrel chambered, but it will be for competition only.
