When you finally get them to all go in the same hole
It's all worth it then !
I could see that as being very rewarding!
It takes a certain level of madness.
I bet that does make it easier George.
I don't have a count on the amount I've done maybe 100 sets or so its not bad just boring. I usually try to run 5-10 sets at a time....
What is that white “stirrer” strip you have in you tumble jar. I like it better than mine.
A piece of hdpe cutting board that I cut down on the table saw. Just twist it up and make a mixer out of it. It can easily be removed to clean the jar out.
It's called "recycling", something Hollywood now clings to for dear life (with a few notable exceptions.)
Kind of like wanting a cherry '57 Chevy. If you buy a tired one it'll cost you $150k to restore it properly and take a year or three. Or you can go to any good auction and buy the best restored one in your state for $30k and not be upside down in it. (I exaggerate but not much.)
Yes! on the 3D printing, but getting that behind you is a whole 'nother odyssey.
My BR traveling partner Richard Milton has a set of George Ulrich trays. Since he has stopped making bullets and not shooting much any more, I am sure he would sell them. I asked him if it was okay to post his number and he said yes. I know very little about bullet making, so address questions to him. The trays are for 6mm bullets and they have been used very little. His phone number is (318) 715-5905. he lives in Jena, LA
James, How is Richard doing as I have not seen either of you in a few years...
He is doing okay, but he has cut way back on activities since having open heart surgery. Also, he turned 80 years old back in September and like me keeps his shooting close to home. He does a little 300 yard shooting and I shoot 300 and 600. How have you been doing? James
Alright healing up from surgery in December but getting along...
Maybe @urbanrifleman can print some. They are worth a lot of money so it sure wouldnt be a wasted effort
The bullet trays everybody wants that nobody wants to make
Could you define "everybody"?
You can see some loaded up here.
And heres the whole kit.
