Team,
Looking for some reassurance. In 2014 I parted with a significant chunk of money and commissioned a 6.5x47 rifle, at the time it was the way forward and seemed the obvious, perhaps fashionable, choice.
For a number of reasons the rifle has still to find it's way into my hands and in the mean time we have seen the rise in popularity of 6.5 creedmoor, which appears to have a solid footing now as well as 6.5 PRC and a couple of others which may or may not stand the test of time.
I am guessing that there must be good reasons why the industry went behind 6.5 Creedmoor and not the 6.5x47 Lapua.
Once I get up and running, can I expect to be out performed by every Joe with a factory 6.5 Creedmoor or is there more to it than I am reading?
