Zimmerstutzen collectors?

Bill Rodolph

I was wondering if there was a collectors organization for Zimmerstutzens, I acquired a bolt action (Mauser) many years ago and just recently learned what it is. I get the impression that the bolt action is rare, at least from the pictures that I find on the internet. It is unmarked, the front receiver ring is heavily stippled and I don't know Mauser's well enough to guess which action it was made on. Any help out there? Can post pictures in a few days, on the road at the moment.

An old post. They were mostly air rifles, but some shot Flobert RF rounds.

Interesting thread to resurface. I bought a lot of Schuetzen stuff from an estate. Seventeen boxes worth. I have been sorting thru them, about one a month since the compression fracture of L3 occurred. This month's treasure; 2000 rounds of 4mm Zimmerstutzen ammunition in 250 round tins. I called Tom Rowe, and he is buying it, as he owns two original rifles.
