Zero free bore visual

I do not chamber a ton of barrels with 0 free bore. So I have been wanting to get a good video of one because many guys seem to have a hard time picturing what they look like. Hopefully this helps you understand what they are. Just the angled lead starting right at the neck. The lead starts a little larger than groove diameter so it does cut a little groove as well.

What is the reasoning behind that Alex? I can understand the longer free bore, getting the bullet the right depth in the case, but this looks like trying to get a bullet in a real short action or maybe a real short bullet? Educate me!

This is a 30BR. With short bullets like 110-115gn 30 caliber or 55s in a 6mm you do not have a lot of bullet in the neck. So if you want to be near the rifling and have some bullet in the neck you need a very short or no freebore.

Plus as wear occurs you can seat further out and still have enough bullet in the case, helpful with boattails.

I spent a bit of time sending e-mails to shooting related companies that I've done business with. I told them that I noticed that they have aligned themselves with social media organizations that have chosen to suppress the first amendment rights of conservative Americans. I let them know that I will not do business with a company that supports those who oppose the guarantees of our constitution. I suggested that, for the benefit of their business, that it would be a good idea for them to sever ties with Facebook, Twitter and Google.
