Youth shooter wins at Edwardsburg....

I've been after my 16 year old grandson Gabe to go to a match with me for some time now. He finally went with me to the Edwardsburg, Michigan range today (6/16/18) to shoot his first match. We took my 30BRs and I let him shoot the better one (BAT action). They shoot IBS targets at 100 and 200 yards.

I finally shot a perfect 200 there with my Pierce action (I've had 199 several times) with 8Xs. Gabe also shot a 200 but with 10Xs! I was very proud of him, as was everyone there who didn't even know him!

Way to start out, Gabe!

Great to hear this. We used to get a few youth shooters at our matches but now its just one every now and then.

You should of told him its fathers/grandfathers day weekend and he should of let you win. Lol. Great shooting from both of you
