"You can no longer buy guns at Dick’s Sporting Goods in Maine"

Story in todays Bangor Daily News. Is this occuring in other geographic locations? At first, I was agitated, but it just works to help the local small FFL shop, so good-bye and good riddance to Dick's!
I use to go to Dicks in Bangor a few years ago. I went in once looking for snow camo in January. All they had was 4 rows of desert camo. I ask why desert camo in Maine when we need snow camo.
Then they quit selling ARs after one of the tragic shootings. I could see their true colors. That was it for me.

Well I for one also, no matter if just me hurts their profit margin or not, stopped going into Dick's in Chico, Ca when they first banned sales of the AR-15, in their ignorant thought it would stop ciminals shooting and using them, like politicians and anti=gun folks do. So it does not surprise me that other Dick's stores are following the pattern. Hopefully thousands of sportsmen and women will stopping buying anything with Dick's in ever state they are in.

Tore down the Dicks/Field N Stream here in the Champaign IL and rebuilt a whole new store in its place. No loss IMHO. They had nothing of interest to us as to reloading, when they first opened F&S in the new spot they had a few powders but like said above it was stupid pricing. After the closer of AR type rifles we swore them off all together. Now its just a Dick in the Rear store again for ball sports and the like, etc.
Every Karen feels great again. The world is so much safer now. Puke emoji here

They always carried the cheap stuff around here. Not worth a trip through the door to see what they had and now that their true colors are known they are of no interest to anyone but those who like to hit balls around. They have all kinds of balls in the store but no balls in the management ranks.

The dicks in my area quit selling guns last year. Only positive from that situation was they were putting big discounts on there guns and got a good deal on a beretta a300 20 gauge. Only gun I've ever bought there normally way to high priced.
