xr100/xp100 Remington Actions

Hi

I have just bought myself a Remington xr100 rangemaster in 22-250 that I am going to butcher to turn into a 6mmbr for varmint popping.

Now, the questions
1. Is the xr100 just a xp100.. If not, what are the differences. What advantages have they over a standard 700 model, besides action base filled in. oh yeah.. I understand they are a pistol action.
2. Will I need to get the fireing pin still bushed with this action
3. 12 twist barrel for 50's to 75's grain projectiles?
4. Amount of free bore for seating these?
5. Will be lightly turning the necks... to clean up... What neck diameter?
6. What can a 40-XB trigger be lightened down too??
7. Cant think of anymore at the moment......
8. Nope... no more.

Thanks for your help. This should be a good small feral popper and a good introduction into the 6mmbr world until my BR 6mmbnr is ready!!

=model 7 single shot action--the rear action bridge is shorter than a 700 action.

Fpin...yes...send it to Greg Tannel to be bushed and turned down

14twist should work up to 75gns, but 12 would be safer in case you want to try 80gners.
