XR-100 Build

I have an XR-100 Remington action. It is a solid bottom single shot action. Does anyone know of anyone who has built a rifle with this action? It seems to me that the solid bottom would offer more bedding surface which is good. I know that it is shorter, but it should still work with the .308 cal. I would use this for a F-TR build. Any insight on this?

We use these all the time here. Probably there are about 30 of them is use locally. I have 4 of them setup for F-class shooting. If you want pictures and information give me an e-mail.

They are very popular with custom stocks bbl, and very stiff actions.

i have had 2 in rifle built ty R W Hart, nescopeck pa, easily shoot .100-.200 when loaded corectly.

dont hesitate to build on that action.

XR-100s were discontinued by Remington years ago in favor of more tactical blast-o-matic products.

if you are looking for the action, you have to buy an xp 100 then strip it down to convert.
