XP100 rest out of a deer blind??

I got the itch with opening weekend coming to take the xp to the blind...

hs centergrip stock...

if i put the forearm on the window seal... what would be the best way to rig up a rest for my arms in back or it, or support under the gun...? any done it?

I dont like to take unsteady shots...

maybe a 2x4 across the blind... build a 1x1ft table to move around high enough to rest the gun on and a sandbag...?

not easy to hold an XP in a deer blind... bipod prone would be easy..

If there is room in the blind build a shooting table it just has to be long enough for the bipod and the rear bag. I've got a piece of plywood screwed to the window sill and two 2x4s with 45's on each end for supports and screwed them in. Or you could do a small shelf below the window sill for your rear bag, coffee, binoculars etc

Check these out. I use one all the time unless I'm shooting from a rest.

I have an older Browning that looks very similar to this one. Works for about anything but a revolver hand cannon.

thata work... I can easily put a big enough shelf under the window sill on the wall with 45s 2x4s to hold it steady, then just use the bipod and rear bag... I shoulda thought of that...

I put a straddle bag in the window, and use a camera tripod and put the grip on it with a brick bag between the grip and tripod.

Cpl Jorgy 3/4" pipe clamps.Cut the pipes to 16" or so,clamp on sill about a foot apart with the pipes extending into blind. Now weld up a sled....or make it out of plywood, that slips over the pipes.

Another trick that you might try is hanging a piece of rope from the top of the window (or an overhanging branch if you're in a tree stand) and wrapping your lead hand into the rope to provide a solid anchor point for muzzle end of your firearm.

Good luck this weekend.
