xp100 info requested

I am hoping someone can help.Does anyone know the serial number range of the first XP100. Also when did Remington switch from the short bolt shroud to the long shroud. And last what years did Remington offer the hard oval case with the pistol ? Any information would be of great help evaluating the Xp's I have aquired over the years. Thanks Muleskinner

Google Remington barrel date code.
They dated their barrels up to Aug. 1999.
That will tell you the date of manufacture for yours.
