XP 100 Trigger Question

I bought a XP100 center grip pistol off of GunBroker. It didn't show the pics of no safety. I was wondering where I could get a original factory trigger group or a after market one. As long as it has a safety. Thank ahead of time.

what you have in the gun is a Dewey Trigger made by Mike Dewey. This trigger will not accept a safety.

I have parts for a stock trigger but not all parts. I have most of the parts for the safety.

Dell's trigger will also not accept a safety. Also, Dell Retired about 4 years ago and you probably cannot get hold of him through the shop. I talk to him all the time though.

Dell probably has quite a few safeties that were removed when we installed custom stocks.

See if you can identify what trigger you have. If its a factory Remington they had 3 or 4 different styles of safety's. If its one of the good aftermarket ones you can sell it or or trade for a factory. During the heyday of the XPs I saw quite a few guys take the safety off their factory Remington triggers.

I can't find a trigger with safety anywhere. I tried calling Dell Taylor that people told me to call but the number isn't working. Was wondering if you found one?

PM Richard King he probably still has a lot of XP parts. He also make a really good XP external bolt release. I’ve got them on a couple of XP’s and even a few 700’s
