XP 100 action question

Hey guys just got a real simple question I'm sure somebody knows off the top of their head. Just wondering if the barrel threads for an xp100 are the same as the 700s? Also how about rem 600 threads? Any help would be great? I know I could probably look and find it but I've come to trust people on this site more than any other source on the net.

The xp is the 600 action and they are interchangable, i think they are, but do not know for sure if the threads are the same as the 700

i have had a BR 6x47(222m) sporter built on an xp (600) and it shot gang busters winning a number of matches, Hart did the smithing.

i have built several rifles on xp actions. they are the same, except that there are not as many of them. remington put the front guard screw in a different place on the xp action, it is moved forward and is in the center of the front receiver ring and will hit thebarrel threads if the screw is to long. rather than milling a spot for clearance for the front screw they just turned the threads off the barrel shank for screw clearance, actually took about half of them off, so there is only about half inch of threads holding the barrel in the receiver. so much for needing a long barrel shank to hold the gun together. as a side note you can put a rear guard screw in an xp action , use a 10-32 it will work just fine, or do what i have done, use only one screw, works just fine, they shoot just fine with one screw, 600and 700s also. henry

yer right, been so long since i had 1 I forgot about them. i was referring to the one's mentioned in the post,,sorry if I caused any confusion.
