mrpistol, my triggers come with a life time warranty on any thing except self inflicted damage by the owner or others. The only triggers that were ever returned had been tampered with, to the best of my knowledge out of several thousand Remington 700 trigger jobs over the last twenty years there have been no workmanship failures or unhappy clients.
I originally asked what problems you were seeing to learn about what others were seeing in these triggers, you have made it obvious you do not want to pass on what you have learned screwing with triggers, I think a man should know his limits it looks you've found yours, thank you for your time have a nice day.
Whiskey, thank you for posting the U Tube video, that was very informitive I have not seen that kind of damage. I have some X Mark triggers that were damaged when I bought them as take offs I'm going to try and reproduce the damage to that trigger to determine how much force it takes to break it.
Jonbearman, thank for the positive post. My experience has been similar to yours except I dissassymble the trigger and smooth out the burs, my triggers pull crisp and clean and are great hunting or varmint triggers that break consistant within an ounce or so.
