Wylde Chamber?

I have been watching a discussion about the differences in the standard chamber and the Wlde chamber and see there is some looks, like the Wylde is a bit shorter and a bit larger at the shoulder. Looking around at several venders I don't see a seperate .223 Wylde set of reloading dies, so the question is will a standard set of .223 full length dies work with the Wylde chamber?

Wilde Chamber?

I think you'll find that a .223 Rem. marked set of dies work fine, for those that don't have this to compare, I'll share:

I started with a PTG match for my F/TR barrel, then throated it a little more to stick the Berger 90 VLD's out there.

Yup standard FL set of dies work perfectly. I had an RRA AR15 with the Wylde chamber & it never gave me a problem and my handloads went a standard .500" @ 100 yds, 20" bbl with 50/55 & 60 gr loads.

A wylde chambered AR is meant for both .223 and 5.56 calibers rounds. there are no dies for it because it is a chamber type. You find them frequently in most major AR-15 National Match producers. i.e. Rock River...
