I have another Lyman M5 scale for sale that I've never actually used.
Unfortunately, this appears to have a bit of light rust on the metal parts. (I got it used that way.) Doesn't appear to be anywhere it would significantly affect accuracy (i.e. the edges), although I'd probably clean it up before using it. Levels out well with a level on the frame (see second picture), and seems to work well when I put a check weight on it.
The piece that attaches to the leveling screw (and holds the counterweight) is loose, which doesn't affect function as you just remove the piece to adjust the screw.
Includes box and lid. The box has some oil(?) staining on the inside and outside of the bottom and has some wear in general, and there's a hole worn almost through the bottom from the leveling screw.
But functionally everything seems great. If nobody buys it, I might just have it tuned and use it myself.
