WTB Precision Shooting Magazine for Archive

Thanks everybody for reaching out. I sent out a couple PM's. The plan is to work through one person's inventory at a time, and work on my own collection of issues in between batches of magazines from other users here. I am not going in any particular order, but am somewhat focusing on the earlier issues first, as they are harder to find, on e bay or otherwise. I would also like to get the runs of Accurate Rifle and Tactical Shooter archived as part of this project too, as they were offshoots of Precision Shooting. I am uploading during the off moments when my kids are not hogging the WIFI......

Just an update, I have about 150 issues scanned and uploaded. Just finished a big batch of issues from the late 1970s. See link below. Hope everybody finds this useful!

Excellent idea Stu, there are some excellent articles in the early issues.
I would like to see the Accurate Rifle and Tactical Shooter issues as well.
How about Shooters News?
There were some excellent articles in them as well.

I have found the old advertisements are every bit as interesting as the articles! I haven't ever seen a copy of Shooter's News, and will look into it. Once I run out of Precision Shooting, I am looking doing Varmint Hunter, which went defunct about the same time as Precision Shooting and had a lot of good articles. Another oldie but goodie was The Fouling Shot, while not dealing with benchrest, dealt with a lot of cool projects and reduced loads. I do wish the NRA would digitize their runs of American Rifleman and American Hunter, as some of the older issues had some pretty good articles too. Anyways, keep an eye on the archive, I update it almost daily. Again, the goal with all of this is to make sure that Precision Shooting is preserved historically. I do update the archive almost daily:

When I follow the link it says there are 151 uploads, but only displays 25. I am working on an android phone and don't see a way to make it display all.

If you try to scroll further than the initial 25 that are displayed, it should autopopulate the next 25 and so on. You can also hit the list button at the top, which will display the titles without thumbnails. Let me know if it doesnt work, I have an old android phone I can plug in and try this evening.

Stu- Was just reading through this thread. How is the Precision Shooting digitize project going? I believe you have all issues I have. I have probably 85 till the end. Its great you are doing this for the shooting sports and a great Idea. Thank You much. hoz53

Just saw I left this thread hanging! Another thread got started up about this on the Main Message Boards, and that is where I have been posting now. Progress is going very good. The 1980's are almost completely finished. Below is what I am still in need of. Pretty much everything else post-1980 I have or have lined up. If anybody has any of the pre-1980 issues they would be willing to loan out for this project, I would be super grateful. So far, six people (including myself) have contributed issues, this is very much a group effort. Thanks!
