That’s what I’m trying to avoid! I need a neck die for 221 Fireball (which Lee doesn’t make) and luckily the cartridge base to neck dimensions of a 22 PPC - which was a Lee factory offering until recently - are close enough to work.

Just looked and the one that I have is for 6ppc. I know I used it for 6ppc and 6BR cases, I don't know if it will work for your intended purposes.
