Building bench rifle in 17-222 Mag(204). Want first rate barrel. Heavy varmit preferred. Will consider other.

Just started sighting in my new .17/204 yesterday. Barrel is a Lilja 9-twist Remington varmint contour which was available in stock from Lilja. Haven't shot it enough to tell if it is a "shooter", but so far everything looks good. Vic

+1 on the Lilja 17cal. 9 Twist Rem. HB Contour, like he posted it is an inventory barrel and you can have it at your door in a couple days.. Top notch barrel.. Just finished chambering a
17-204 R in a Lilja #5 contour, 9 twist, finished @ 26"
