Would you say my 6br barrel is shot out?

As others have asked, what do the targets say?
It’s hard to say, I moved from shooting 107 Sierras to 90 Bergers, and I’m still trying to work up a good load. The groups are ok, (for my shooting),~.75 MOA off my Joypod prone, but I’ve just started load development.

I have a 6BR which has the same amount of rounds down the barrel as yours and looks similar with a bore scope. I shoot the rifle prone off a bipod. The groups have been opening up and I was also contemplating a rebarrel.
Last range trip I mounted a 3” adapter and shot off a rest, 2nd best 5 shot group for me at 300 yards, 0.47”. Looks like it’s me as the problem.

You should KEEP, a Few 107 Sierra MK Loads handy as, a "Base Line" for, your Rifles,.. TRUE,. "capability".
My Second BEST Bullet was, the 95 gr. Berg Classic Hunters,.. in 6 xc.
But NOTHING has beat, the awesome, 107 SMK's,.. Yet !

If it was me, I'd give that barrel a chance. I've had great results with both of those bullets you mentioned.

I agree, it does mess with one’s head, and may skew your decisions. But unfortunately this is one of those things I can’t “unsee”! Lol
I shoot a 6bra at 300 and 600yds. At 1500 rds. I started to have the same concerns as you, fire cracking was getting heavy in the first 3-6 inches but it seemed to still be shooting as good or better than other guns during a 300yd. score match at our club.
At 2000 rds. I had a lot change with varget, see photo
A match a couple weeks ago with 2700 rds. down the pipe see photo.
I think it is still serving my needs as a club level gun but I want to switch to 30br.
The fire cracking is like 4X as bad as yours but ymmv

I’ve loaded up a dozen of Tubb’s TMS (Throat maintenance system) rounds. I’m gonna start to shoot four of them every 300 rounds from here on out.
yep just be gentle...a very knowledgeable fellow shooter just yesterday spoke about tearing the throat out if abrasives are over used. kinda Like using issio 2-3 times for the life of a barrel....this is what I've done just to keep the hard carbon in check and I don't worry about the first 6 inches being spotless.

By deep cleaning, you mean Iosso/Flitz was used?

Do I have it right that the jagged line is the same one in the different pics?

From the pics, it looks like what ever it is, it's above the surface? Is that correct?

If it goes below the surface, when was the last time you borescoped the barrel and the jagged line wasn't there?

Yes, I used IOSSO several times to get all of the carbon out. The jagged lines are actually cracks, in several locations. I scoped the barrel about 500 rounds ago, and those cracks were barely visible.

What do you mean a 3” adapter? Thanks
