Would you like to try out the “Shot Marker” electronic targeting system?​

Fun shoot event prior to the start of the IBS Group Nationals. Saturday (8/2/25) evening starting at 5 pm. 25 shot, 300 yard score.

For those who want to participate, you will need 30 pre-loaded cases of your caliber of choosing. Course of fire: max if 5 sighters. Start 25 shot score record (no more sighters can be taken). Are you benchrest shooters ? we have been using shotmarker for Highpower for a few years now and for what we do it's probably fine but when we calibrated the targets this year the location of recorded hits on the shotmarker was different than the targets, by this what I saw was groups shot on the paper when we went down range to check location that were not identical to groups indicated by the shotmarker so measuring groups to very small measurements I would not trust to the machine

Shotmarker can easily be calibrated at dead on the X. Most use an offset, say 1 MOA high, so that the center is not shot out quickly. I am not sure bench shooters will ever trust the Shotmarker… we have played it andn its darn accurate.
