Would like an opinion

I have ,on consignment in my shop, a really nice 1968 Winchester 52. It's a one owner and besides a few safe dings on the stock is really perfect. I know sometimes there is sentimental attachment to items and they get valued higher than they are worth ( I constantly have to bring folks back down to reality ) but in this case I feel that the owner is not to far off base.
I would like for you guys to take a look at this package and give me an honest opinion.
The rifle with papers showing date purchased.
One set of Redfield target sights.
One Lyman target spot optic 15 or 20x ( I disremember ) with papers
The palm knob, detachable, for four position shooting
Leather shooting glove

He would like to sell it as a package and wants $2500.
You guys are a great resource for me as the Blue Book and GunBroker can both be off in different ways. The Blue Book seems to agree with his assessment. What do y'all think?

Unless the stock is the model 52 International style, which is adjustable 6 ways from Sunday, that price is on the high side of average for that package, imo. That's about what I have in my International, which is equipped as you describe except my vintage Lyman is 25x, which would have little influence on the value.

Agree with Tim if its the 15x Lyman and International Redfields, add another $150 for the 20x, $75 for the wooden scope box, and another $100 for the Redfield Palma irons.

Not sure if the "Palma" sights warrant a bump in value on the sights.. but i am sure that the International MK 8 would!

Thanks guys. I took this in on consignment, as I said, with a warning to the owner to be patient. I have it in a trophy case to minimize booger hook wear. I will reassess this item ,and if necessary, call him and discuss. There is always this site or GB to put it front of more folks.
