I have a Remington 541T that has a Voelker action job, a Voelker spec'd Broughton SS 16TW60 barrel and has a Leupold Vari X III 6.5 - 20 scope with target turrets. I am no longer shooting and would like to sell it. However I have no idea how much it is worth. I would appreciate opinions and suggestions.

I have a similar rifle Mine is a"S" w/ 4.5-14 Leupold Lilja bbl. I have had it on several sites for $1200.00 quite a few interest wanting to trade "Left Hand Gobbily Gooks " no cash offers yet. The used Gun Market is SOFT rite now

I saw a 541s with custom barrel done by Brian at last years IR 50 UL Nationals. Without a scope he wanted $750. Thought it was a great buy for someone & in my mind it was priced low. It did not sell however. May have by now.

Don't have an opinion on the rifle value. Whenever I buy a rifle with scope, I always pay less than the rifle and scope are worth. I would separate them for 2 sales. Your scope should sell for around $500.

I have received several requests to sell the scope without the rifle. I have been giving that some consideration. The scope is a Leupold Vari X III E.F.R. with target reticle. According to Leupold, it has fine crosshairs with a small target dot that covers 1/8" to 1/5" at 100 yards when set at maximum magnification. The Scope was serviced by Leupold this past spring.

I would like additional opinions on the value of this scope without the mounting rings.

I've bought several of those Leupolds. The Vari-X's usually sell fairly quickly priced around $450. Newer VX-III's sell around $500 or a few dollars more.
