Worst Optics Warranty Ever

I had an RCBS Junior press that I bought used off ebay and it came with the threads for the handle stripped. I contacted RCBS and they said they don't make it any more but, if I would send it in, they would thread it and send it back with a new handle.

Which they did, no charge.
So, for me, RCBS is SOLID.

I guess us older guys have a hard time realizing that warranties aren't about keeping and building business any more. They are about statistics and advertising. Plus, when they discontinue older models, they don't keep a parts inventory on hand to do repairs with.

When I say "they", I mean the ones who cause problems with their service.

Well, gentlemen, there has been an interesting turn of events regarding my Weaver XR-46 scope. I did send a letter via email to Bushnell detailing the original failures of the XR-46 and how Weaver bought all of them back, including the ones that dealers had refunded money on. I explained that Weaver did have a fix for them. The person I spoke with ( Jacob) had my scope sitting on his desk and said he realizes that the scope they sent was for a different style of shooting, and he said that if I wanted my XR back he would send it back to me to pursue other avenues of repair, and here’s the kicker” he said to go ahead and keep the Bushnell Forge!
I am very thankful that I pursued a resolution on this matter and the folks at Bushnell listened. They satisfied my complaint and gained my respect for their handling of my situation.
As soon as my XR arrives I will be talking to Sheryl at Optical Services Co. to see if they are willing to have a go at repairing it.
