Eric Wilson shot a 198 score record at Piedmont Sat. 50 50 50 48. I don't think it will last long though, my bet is he will break it soon. He shoots alot of small centered groups.

Congrats Eric.

For those that have never shot 600, that's more than quite an accomplishment.

Congrats.

Absolutely, a big accomplishment! Congrats Eric, job well done.

Mike Davis adds another record to the long list........

I`m curios of the chambering Eric used, the Eq list says 6mm. Seems they are playing with the BR-DX and still the BRX.

Great shooting Eric, an awesome accomplishment.

If my memory is correct Eric said he was using a Dasher. Not that it matters, it is the man behind the rifle! Anything on the BR case at 600 yards is equally accurate IMO. Eric has been doing some fantastic shooting, so has some other Rookies. Ben Yarbough has been on fire last year and this year. A Rookie/Junior (Hunter Cain), 12 years old, shot my 61 pound HG last match with a new barrel chamber in 6BR-DX. He finished 3rd in group (2.035 agg) and 4th in score! After I asked him to speed up his shooting he shot a 1.5 and a 1.1 on the last two targets! Hunter scored 8 IBS points in that match! Pretty darn good considering no junior has scored any points in IBS 600 yard history to my knowledge! At Piedmont, with the talent and number of shooters we have each match, you have done well to place in the top 5. What use to win 3-4 years ago, will not even place any more! Samuel Hall

Sam is right, the gun can't win a match by itself. Eric has been tough since he started & continues to get better. Congratulations again, that's very strong shooting!

You two guys are the heart and soul of the 600 yd game. I`m proud to have seen/shot at Piedmont where the records continue to fall. That was a dream trip for me last September.

Good Shooting Eric.....I know how difficult it is to keep em centerd and SMALL.....you will never forget that day...Congrats....Roger

Not being familiar with the 600 yard bench shooting ( I am mostly a sling shooter), what are the dimensions of the X and 10 ring as well as the white square box?

The 10 ring is aprox. 2-3/4" (box is the same),and the x ring aprox. 1-1/4".....Roger
"Those groups are aprox 1"--1 3/8 --2"--2 1/4"....for aprox a 1.65 average ...a 1/4moa is 1.5!!!!!!

OK, thanks. A little less than half the NRA F-class target or 1/4 the XC target. Puts things in much better perspective. Definitely fine shooting!
