World Open 2024 Day 1 Results

We are halfway through the World Open, and it has been a hot one! Top three winners for Light Gun were Steve Brennen, Roger Gower, and Dave Kieffer. Congratulations!!! They all walked away with great prizes! For Closest to Center the cash pot came in at $1560 and we had not one, but TWO perfect pinwheels. John Stecik and Neal Kimberling both walked away with $780! Can’t wait to see what today brings!

They are in order of names. The one on the left and right are officers. It is hard to post the realys for 27 relays each day. In time they should be posted on the website. Matt

I’m currently heading home from the World Open. I can tell you without hesitation, that this match is 2nd to none in all aspects. By far the most fair, and well ran match I’ve ever attended, and I’ve shot quite a different ranges. Williamsport will humble you. This is a match I will indeed be attending from here on out!

Seeing them, I feel is about the same. But finding bullet holes is easier. Especially, when your in the pits plotting them. Matt

If you have ever been or shot the world you would know how fast pace this match is and its plan and simple about getting the shooter in and out in a very orderley fashion. The results come out as fast as they can bit are always changing g due to all the relays being shot .
Im not sure the number but i figure 90 + shooters shooting 3 targets each day that takes a while and there is now need to post results until
everyone has shot to round.So this is a match that results are very hard to post as a whole and them the service it the range is not the best.
So to everyone in Pa busting yout chaps to make this great show work I say exilant job by all.
Capt Mal I would suggest to you again another time just take a break and ask your self so I really want to look like a old hateful ass today?.
Because you are the best I have ever scene at it .Take a chill pill and god talk to some dolphins or something and just wait till its posted. Bless his heart

Just got home and I’m finished unloading the truck. This was the best one in 30+ years. Weather was hot but tolerable. Very well run and thought out. Congratulations to all involved and all who participated, looking forward to seeing everyone next year.

I have a GREAT time every year. This year was no different except for some equipment failure that kept me out of the day 2 fun. I ended up leaving after seeing on Fox News what went on in Butler Pa. That is my backyard and the Firefighter that went down was my son's next-door neighbor & friend that we all have broken bread with more than once.
Thank You to all the workers that keep the Williamsport Open running like a well-oiled machine......See you next year.
