Working with two different 308 loads need help now. plz

I'm trying to different loads. The case(Lapua), bullet jump (.018) Primers (Fed 210's) are all the same the only difference it the powder and bullet. Both loads are shooting about .75moa at 300yrds one load shoots horizontal and the other shoots vertical. I've tried these loads twice with the same outcome. both days the wind was less than 2mph mainly at 12:00 (very light winds) the smoke from the barrel would just sit above the bbl.

#1 44.0grs Reloader-15 shooting a 168gr A-Max (horizontal hits)
#2 44.0grs Varget shooting a 175gr SMK (vertical hits)

#1 loads shoot about 2" horizontal and about 1" vertical
#2 loads shoot about 1" horizontal and about 2" vertical

I'm shooting 5 rounds at a time and I'm letting the bbl cool between sets.

Is there any thing I can do to bring the best from both groups together. I'm thing about trying the Varget behind the 168gr A-Max but will this clear up the horizontal problem I'm having or the 175 SMK using the Reloader-15 to clear up the vertical problem? I've tried different primers and cases with no luck.

Load #1 and work on the mirage/wind.What the wind is at the barrel may not be what it is down range(flags would help).

FWIW, attached are the QuickLOAD predictions for the loads. They both look pretty good, the A-Max load being slightly light. I certainly do not take QuickLOAD as gospel but, on paper, your choices are sound. The case capacity is with Lapua .308 brass.

I have had better luck with CCI BR-2 and Wolf KVB-7 in .308 than with Fed 210M, but that's just my rifles.

Are you chronographing the loads?

Thanks to everyone. Thanks for posting the Quickload data. I've tried Winchester primers with the same result. I can not find and large rifle CCI BR-2's here in Austin. I haven't checked online. I'm sure Midway has them.

There was no mirage, and the wind was clam at the target (300) and at 100-200 flags

The loads shoot a one hole .25"-.375" cluster at 100yrs

The Reloder 15 is verry good for 308 and 165 -168 gr. bullets - the optimal powder charge is normally 42 gr.
I think you need to work verry small incriments, and then after a laddertest, fine tune, from well into the lands and outwards.

I have found, that some bullets work best, in the lands - and others are best around .50 off lands.

How about with the load which gives verticle, adjust powder weight first. For the one which shoots wide groups, try seating depth first.
