working up loads for bipod use

Do you do anything differently here with load development? I read Froggy's article, and think I understand the hard hold. I'm curious if you develop loads on bags/bench as normal and then just start shooting from the bipod, or do you do all your load development working from the bipod so your loads are tuned for that condition?

Thanks,
Bill

If I was going to shoot off a bipod all the time I would certainly do my testing that way.
As far as holding, you will learn what your rifle likes in time, some will take to a hard hold, and other wont have anything to do with it...

Thanks Preacher. I tried to get a set of the pod paws, but it looks like they are making them anymore. Gonna' try and make something myself to help with the bouncing issue.

Tks,
Bill

I'd do it the other way around.

Do your load development on a good bench and bag set-up to find the holy grail. Then I'd bolt on the bipod and work on the hold, etc. that produces the matching results.
