Words of Encouragement/Useful reminders to competitive shotgun events

Local club hosts a multistate regional event and I would like to have some small signs made that are great reminders to the participants.

We also host local junior high/high school trap team, several registered skeet/trap/sporting clays.


Some that I plan to use:

"No Peeking!"

"If you see it........"

"Early and often"

"Cheek + Wood"

"Keep moving"

Any other suggestions?

Never load an autoloader with the barrel resting on your toes. Word it any way you want but I have seen this twice with injury to experienced shooters, both rifle and shotgun, and several other times without injury. Didn't see any personally but saw the aftermath. Been on the BOD for 32 years, seen a lot.

That is interesting. We are hosting a four week (Wednesday night), 200 Rock Challenge (50 Rock per week) to all that care to enter. As with any club, there are some excellent Trap Shooters and Skeet in attendance.

1st week was 25 Trap at 16 yard line & 25 Skeet.
2nd week was 25 Handicap trap at 23 yard line and 25 Wobble Skeet
3rd week is 25 Wobble Trap at 16 and 25 Wobble Skeet
4th week is 5 stand and 5 stand (there WILL be rabbits, mini's, midi's, chandels, and, and, and!!!)

This Wednesday is week 3. There is definitely a glimpse of those that can hit, no matter what is presented. Weeks 3 and 4 will make the separation, more than likely, more.
