Wolf steel case 45 ACP in a Glock 21?

Ive shot them through an RIA and AR chambered in 45 with no issues.
Your MMV...Its a trial and error kinda thang. It either works or it dont for your application.

My Glock 41 does not like low pressure. My 1911 does. If they are target rounds, try some. They won't ruin your gun. I would be interested in what the ES is.

Thousands of steel cased .45's through my G21SF w/o an issue.

There was a time in years past I actually reloaded a few 45 steel cases. They cracked on the 2nd reload but fired and ejected.

Shoot it if your gun likes it. Today it's not about what other people's opinions are, it's about affordability. My Glock 10mm shoots steel case ammo just fine. If I was in a pinch and didn't reload for mine and needed range ammo, I'd be buying it to shoot. It's harmless in the weapon and cheaper to purchase. I say go for it.

I doubt there would be an issue. .45 ACP is pretty low pressure. The only ammunition I had fail in the pair of 9mm Glocks I had many years ago (Model 17s) was Egyptian manufactured surplus I obtained in a mixed lot from the now defunct Paragon Arms in Joliet, Illinois. It turned out that it was much higher pressure and intended for various full-automatic rifles. In the Glocks of the day, with their unsupported case head, they would blow out the head through the feed ramp and actually blow the magazine out of the gun. Stung the hand pretty well too. Too the credit of Glock, no damage to the gun, but I made sure to sort out that ammo from the rest!

With pistol cases that headspace on the case mouth, I cringe thinking of steel case mouths making forceful contact within a barrel chamber. Sure they can take it, but for how long? Surely at some point metal starts to peen and move that ought not do so.

Watch for varnish buildup on the mag under the feed lips and in the edge of the chamber
This is the advice you need... If it functions then your good but be sure and clean the chamber and watch for the varnish build up.... The poly coated stuff is ok but the varnish coated stuff can have some problems with build up.... Steel is a little harder on the extractor but Glock parts are cheap and easy to replace , that's why I only have them anymore....
I once saw a steel varnish coated tula ammo in .223 stick in the chamber of a Mossberg bolt action so bad we couldn't get it out no matter what we tried.... That's stuff gets hot when fired and acts like a glue when it builds up.... We sent the gun back to the manufacturer and after 2000 - 3000 rounds of those steel bullets they went ahead and changed the barrel out they said it was done.. That guy though NEVER cleaned anything and that was the real problem... During these hard times I wouldn't not shoot them if it's all I could get.... Just pay attention and clean the gun after shooting.... If you need parts I use www.glockstore.com

The usual downside to steel cases ammo is that it usually has inferior quality bullets loaded in it. These more often than not have steel jacketed bullets in them also. These have a flash coat of copper thick enough to keep them from rusting in storage and supply a minimum if lubricity. Shoot enough of them and the steel jackets will eat up the rifling in your gun. A Glock may be slightly immune to the effects of the steel jackets because they don't have conventional rifling, but shooting a lot of them can't be good for any gun.

Like Old Navy said, the only issues i have had with steel case is their tolerances. Most is made overseas and do not have the QA that we have in the states. Not saying that its bad ammo, however I have guns that dont like it or dont shot it well. I would try a few boxes and see how yours likes it before jumping on a block stock. If it shoots fine, then go for it!
