Witchita value

Philly

Gold $$ Contributor
I have a friend that wants to sell his Witchita McMillan Krieger in 20 BR in a heavy bench rest but I’m having a hard time finding a value for him. Anyone know what it’s worth?

$800-1000ish. I have one in 6ppc I paid $800 for. It’s a tank of an action but it doesn’t have the “new bling” most guys want these days. It would be a good starter rifle for a new guy or piece of history for an old guy like me. Some nice targets posted will help your sale.
Being an oddball cartridge doesn’t help it. Include dies and brass to help it move.

a mini is worth a lot less as you take the bolt out each time?

the wichitas were a nice action but,had some drawbacks

Just a neat action to play with and make a nice varmint rifle with the right contour barrel

not really a modern benchgun
only if used for fun

price seems about right depending on stock color or fit for buyers purpose and buyers needs

Small bolt face, chambered for? You may find someone on this site might be interested The ad section generates interest if it is something of interest

Big issue only a few can fix them. Parts are hard to find.
So much great stuff around if you look hard enough
