DittoI started out with wipe out, now I’m using patch out combined with their accelerator. Both products work great! It’s great for general cleaning and maintenance, I try and clean soon after a firing session, I tend to get better results the sooner I clean. For stubborn copper fouling jobs I still use a variety of other products.
I used WipeOut for ten years but recently switched to ThorroClean/Flush. ThorroClean/Flush cut the number of brush strokes required for same level of clean by 90%.

Well....sort of. If you're thinking like Iosso or JB it's not like that. It is a very soft abrasive that breaks down quickly and according to the manufacturer, doesn't harm barrels. I believe that and they say it can be used as your regular cleaning routine. I believe that also. When I called to ask about using Thorroclean/flush they were very helpful and informative. Unlike most companies, even the lady answering the phone knew what was going on and could answer all questions. One's an abrasive and one is not.![]()
Aw man! I was expecting to hear some cool surfer guitar riffs when I opened this thread. What a let down.

The Patch out version isn’t.IMHO- too damn messy. I stick to BBS and bronze brushes which has worked well for me in the last 25 years.
