Wind Flags: Why and How to Set.

I made a video that may be of interest to shooters, hunters and some short range Benchrest competitors. The first 7 min talks about why hunters and non-competitors may want to consider using wind flags during practice/tuning. The last 20 min shows one flag setting method. Hopefully, there is something in there that you can add to your current process.

Daisy flags other advantage is instant recognition of a head or tail wind (if wheel has different colors front and back).

Who makes the flags you're using?
TK Nolan made these flags. I'm pretty certain TK does not make flags anymore. If you are interested in double vane flags try contacting Dave Halblom (Flying Fish Fundamentals = DesMoines IA). If he does not make them anymore he probably knows who does. Hope this helps

TK Nolan from OK made these flags, he might have called them Wick Wind, but I never heard him say that. Hope this helps

Dave Wick made some flags that were VERY similar to those, and I have always heard them called Wick (or Wick-style) Flags.

Dave (GREAT guy BTW) was getting up in years back when I started shooting BR in the late 90's, so I seriously doubt he is making any flags today...

Charlie Hood MIGHT still sell a similar flag... https://www.benchrest.com/hoodpress/wind_flags.html
