Any local sign shop will have coroplast and a good way to cut it and can put the vynyl on it for you

Thanks. there are several sign companies close in my area and I will have to reach out to them and see what they can provide and assist with. Do you feel a there is a certain vane shape and size that provides the best indication of the conditions?

My SH flags have square main tubes. These have round. They don't look like mine.

Who put the vinyl on your flags.

I did these for a friend. The metal tail was replaced and I put vinyl on them.

Coloplast at Lowes or Home Depot. Cut with box cutter. If above places don't have vinyl get from sign shop or from www.

Update,
Made two new vanes this weekend to test out. They are the first two in the picture with an original in the back. I used coroplast with the colored vinyl. Not enough wind today in the yard to actually see how they will react in the wind. #1 is a modification of the original vane design and #2 is something different to try and compare side by side with #1 and the original vane design on #3. #2 vane seems to be quite a bit heavier than #1 or #3.

I still need to make a place for the streamer to attach, (top, middle, bottom???) on the rear of the vane.

Any tips on balancing / initial setup for the pivot point?

Bought everything at Hobby Lobby, enough to do 3 vanes for about $5.00 each.
