Winchester primers

Yes it's a large firing pin, so that's a thing, . However, loads that pierced the WSRs only crater with Federal 205Ms. So the WSRs are less strong than the Federals. it's less "blaming the primer" and more WSRs aren't taking pressure as well as another primer, and I'm hoping the CCI 450s work better than WSR or 205M.
 
WOW! That is definitely a problem. I have 1000 of The red and black box WSR primers I bought a year or 2 ago. They are not the #41 primers. I may try them in one of my small firing pin actions with a moderate charge. I have a 1000 50 TNT to plink with.
 
For those interested, using CCI 450 instead of WSR took me from piercing at low velocities to some acceptable cratering at relatively high velocities. Spent a day at the range yesterday.
