They are too old to use. Just send them to me for disposal.

Started with them back the late 70's. If properly stored, I would use them. Back the day Winchester primers were hot as they were for ball powders, and they did not make a magnum primer. My old Powley computer called the hottest of primers they tested.

Out here in the west, when I started loading and for twenty years or so, you could use any primer you wanted -- as long as it was CCI. They were all that the stores seemed to carry, and back then almost no one ordered reloading supplies. You didn't have to. Even our little town had three or four gun/sporting good stores that had everything a guy wanted to "roll your own". I don't think I bought my first Winchester primers until about ten years ago. jd

I'd guess those are from the 90's.

Got a few boxes of those with my grandpa as a kid
Next box was white with more modern lettering

They are silver and just putting a couple in spent brass and firing they seem much hotter then standard WSR that I have currently or CCI. Interesting... local guy was gifted his uncles gun stuff and the case was in the bottom of a gun safe.

These are from some cases of primers I bought at a gun show in 1991. The Primers are gold in color. These are the last 2 bricks I have left! I just loved walking out of the gun show with 5 cases of primers for $250!
