Winchester m70 crf question

I have a winchester model 70 CRF action here, serial number is 35Amn01987. The rifle has an original barrel on it, from what I can tell, I bought it for a donor action and the seller bandsawed the barrel off a few inches in front of the action. Originally chambered in 30-06 in a sporter configuration. From what I can tell has never had any machine work done. I pulled the barrel off today, it is threaded 1.062" X28tpi. I'm just curious if anyone knows if some of them were made differently than the 1"x16tpi standard.

Yes the newer Winchesters are threaded 1-1/16"x 28tpi, I had an extreme weather Win m70 i had a barrel put on with the same threads.

Sounds good, thanks. I wasn't aware that they were somewhat common. I do a little gunsmithing as a hobby as I've got machining equipment in the shop and a shooting addiction.
