6XC in a M70 CRF action

Has anyone built a 6XC on a Winchester Model 70 controlled round feed action? How did it feed and extract? Any other issues?

I have a spare M70 CRF action and will either build a .243 Win or 6XC with it. Any other 6mm chamberings I should consider?

I have a Model 70 CRF 6xc that was originally a 243 win. It feeds fine with no modifications.

How does it shoot? Do you like it?

This would be my first time getting into a more specialized cartridge. Will use for long range varmint and target shooting against myself :) Maybe one day F Class.

Shoots about 1/2 MOA with a 27" Bartlein barrel and muzzle brake. It is OK with the factory varmint stock and tuned factory trigger. I am going to build another off of the CRF action that is just what I want with a McMillan stock and jewell trigger. The 6xc size cartridges are pretty tough to beat for what you want.

If my memory serves me correctly, I think I remember reading that John Whidden may have used a m70 receiver years ago. Something about flats on the m70 receiver and the 700 receivers were round. I believe his was a straight 243.
